I read a short thread at php.net regarding the use of ECHO.
I have an HTML form with PHP variables to define each input value (if any.)
For example:
<input type='text' name='firstname' value='<?php echo $FirstName; ?>'>
I'm wondering if it makes any sense (performance and code-efficiency wise)
to do as follows:

Hi, all. Sorry, first off, for the kidna weird selection of crossposted
groups, but this question touches on aspects of discussion in each of the
groups.
So I have a group of around 500 email addresses to which I would like to
send a mass email occasionally. The group will never be much larger than
500 email addresses and will occasionally be about half that size.
I have written a simple HTML interface and PHP backend to process the...

Hi -
I'm beginning work on an existing web site which was created with Adobe Golive.
The page in question has CSACTIONS which is part of Golive's CyberStudio.
Anyway, the code below has this CSaction stuff and a bunch of Javascript. If
somebody would please take a very brief peek at the code and give me a basic
idea of what it does. Presumably something to do with pausing the page before
redirecting to another URL. But it seems like so...

Should I switch from using HTML-Kit to using Adobe GoLive? I am just
a volunteer who is webmaster for a small non-profit group. I am the
only person working on the site. The only reason I am tempted to
switch from HTML-Kit to GoLive is that I can get an academic version
for cheap ($70 USD).
I have been doing simple coding by hand with HTML-Kit because it is
free, to avoid having to go back later to debug bloated tag soup some
editors...

Recently I was editing a document in GoLive 6. I like GoLive because it has some nice
features such as:
* rewrite source code
* check syntax
* global search & replace (through several files at once)
* regular expression search & replace.
Normally my documents are encoded with the ISO setting.
Recently I was writing an XHTML document. After changing the encoding to UTF-8 I used the

Just purchased StyleMaster and it is just what I've been looking for!
However, I'm pretty lost at this point, trying to use it with GoLiveCSS
on the Mac. A few questions, please:
1. I keep getting these "temp" css files in the folder and I don't know
what to do with them....they seem to be taking over from the original
style sheet (template) that I'm using.
2. When I'm in GoLive, viewing an html file in layout mode, how do
apply styles...

Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know that I found a really good deal
on Adobe GoLive 5.0. A download version is on sale here:
http://store.crmsoftwares.com/adgoli5.html
If you don't know, Adobe GoLive is a web-authorizing and
site-management tool. This version also has a lot of new features that
make it easier to use with Photoshop, Illustrator, and LiveMotion
files.

I need to maintain a list of subscribers to an email list for a
"newsletter" that will be sent via a web form probably once a month.
I anticipate low numbers--tens to maybe one hundred subscribers at the
most. Just curious what the best way to code this is. Should I just
loop through the addresses and send one-off emails to each, or is it
better to somehow send to every recipient in one shot? One thing I
would like to avoid in the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
