the best text effects tool for flash

6 New Member
I'm looking to find the perfect tool for creating text animations in flash cs3.
I came across TxEff 2 and I kinda like it

Do you know anything like it or better? I don't have a budget, just want to find the best one out there.

Actually, I think that might be the best one. It look's really good. It's really a preference and opinion so I can't really say it's the best.

But, I like it, and it's not too high of a price. I'd say that's the best. Also, since it's really a user's preference, why not search Google to see what pops up first(which TextEff did :-P) Here's what I searched though "best text effect tool for flash cs3". And, like I said, the TextEff was at the top of the list.

It does look like a good tool, its all a matter of user preference. I would look for a cheaper one first though.

Suggestions for what? If you're willing to spend a little bit of cash, then the txeff animation tool is the way to go. If not, then creating decent text effects in Flash itself can be done with a little bit of effort.

Simple question... which is better to use for defining font sizes and why? px and em seem to be the leading candidates. I know what the general answer is going to be, but I'm hoping to ultimately get some good real world examples. Fire away! :) Regards, Peter Foti

Oddly enough, I found it difficult, using Google, to find a list of best-of sites based on the quality of their css packages. So I'd ask. Does anyone know of particularly good sites which are in good measure because of their creative and useful css designs? I'm aware of Zen Garden and a few others. So don't bother with those. And I hope I don't get replies from people with a 'tin ear' and no design sense. Good sites. Good pages. That's...

There have been fancy dhtml text effects since the early days of javascript. The rainbow text effect was one of the early ones. While some such effects may be fun on private pages, they can easily become obnoxious, especially on commercial sites. To a large extent, dhtml text effects have been replaced by flash, likely because the flash effects often are more easy to make for many people. How bad can a dhtml text effect be? Many of you...

Is any one charting packing considered to be the "best"? We've used ChartFX but wasn't too happy about the way data had to be populated along with some other issues which slip my mind right now and Dundas has bugs and doesn't do a good enough job displaying axis labels and is very slow to paint large numbers of series and data points. We're currently evaluating ProEssentials which we are happy with but it's not a native .NET package. ...

I work in film and am trying to create some interactive flash text pages. Maybe someone knows how. An example is Carrie on "Sex & the City" she's not typing, it's a flash page. Everytime she touches any letter on the keyboard a letter is shown. How do I do this so it doesn't play the whole paragraph just one letter each time? This is what I've figured out so far. THANKS TO WHOEVER CAN HELP ME! var str:String="In a clear effort to quickly...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
