I have a PHP script that will be doing an @fopen file open command to
a Java servlet, sending content via a query string.
Problem is that it appears the Java servlet does not receive anything
via its doGet() method and does no action.
Has anyone here successfully ever sent anything via PHP to a Java
servlet? Tell me what you are supposed to do, I thought it was this
simple:

Hi -
I'm beginning work on an existing web site which was created with Adobe Golive.
The page in question has CSACTIONS which is part of Golive's CyberStudio.
Anyway, the code below has this CSaction stuff and a bunch of Javascript. If
somebody would please take a very brief peek at the code and give me a basic
idea of what it does. Presumably something to do with pausing the page before
redirecting to another URL. But it seems like so...

Hi all.
I have a form, and several text and image links on it that should
submit the form with different actions.
I prepared a simple page with just the code that's not working.
PROBLEM: The form won't submit if the link is clicked, but will submit
if the SUBMIT button is clicked. I need to call a function to change
the form's action according to user's input before it is submitted.

I am aware of the setInterval and setTimeout functions for Javascript, but
I can't seem to find an example that lets me do what I need to.
I have a script that needs to wait until a certain condition is met. In
this case, the condition is that an iframe has been reloaded completely. I
do this by examining a hidden document variable in the iframe, and when it
has changed from "" to "1" is the signal for me that the iframe is loaded.
(if...

remove, and a "Save" button. When the user clicks the "Add another email" it
will call a client side JavaScript function, add_email, which will
dynamically add a new set of controls to the webpage using the innerHTML
method. It appears to work perfectly fine in the browser. The...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
