Hi
I have designed a simple DHTML menu which comes over a flash animation
when it appears. I have set the window mode as transparent in the flash
project. This menu is showing fine when seen with IE, Netscape,
Firefox. Yet in Opera the menu is going behind the flash animation.
Can anyone suggest a solution to solve this issue.

To embed flash objects in my pages, I read them from a database.
A script file (Filedownload.aspx) reads it from the database, and
streams it to the browser.
Here are two example flash objects in a page. The first 1 (a simple
link to an existing swf-file on the webserver) is showing in each
browser (IE & FF), while the other one (using the filedownload page) is
only being shown in FF.
Does it have something to do with file-extension?

I was reading an article

Can anyone recommend how to get started?
Is there an Ajax control available for this or would more a basic javascript
work just as well. I'm assuming I just need a div element that is shown on
a mouse over, but I'm not sure how to go about aligning all...

hi guys
I am using componentart ajax menu for my website. now I found an issue. if I
put a flash object at the same page with my menu. in firefox and netscape,
the flash object will always on the top of my menu - that means half of my
menu is missing. but in IE, it works fine, my menu is always at the top of
the screen. did someone else have the same issue as i did? how do you solve
this problem.

Hello,
I have embedded a Flash Movie in an AJAX HTML page which is created by JSF and ICEfaces.
When the page loads for the first time everything works fine. The gallery shows up and displayes all the pictures.
Now we use ICEfaces AJAX components to change some text on the page.
And when this happens the Flash Movie disapears (unloads(?)) from the page.
The space where the Flash Movie should be is just blank and Flash is not present...

I have run into a situation that if a page/tab that uses the Ajax toolkit
(using .net version 3.5) is closed before the Ajax enable controls complete
loading, then IE locks up. Does it in both IE7 and IE8. There is no issue
when the controls are allowed to complete loading.
Can you please tell me the best practice that handles this?

when users click the title of the news article, it pops up the article
content in a thickbox overlay. Retrieving content from the database
via AJAX is no problem, that works and thickbox works too, I'm just
