Can someone please tell me where I can get some open source code for
resizing images? I know such code has been written a million times and
I don't feel like doing it again from scratch.

Hello Everyone,
The problem of browser resizing has become an issue for me. While
redesigning my webpage, I set the left and right margins to be auto so
that my content would be centered. However, there are images that I
used absolute positioning in order to place them in the appropriate
location on my page. When I do a browser resize, these images do not
move (obviously). However, the rest of my content is auto centered as...

Hello
I've created a style for a div that is set to a specific height. My
question is that if the content in this div is larger will it resize to fit
the new content?
Thank you

For some time I've made use of the max-width property in CSS to cause
my pages to appear as a centered block against a contrasting
background. This works well in new browsers (Mozilla, etc.) and falls
back fine in IE6 and lesser creations. As one who practices "classic"
(i.e. dull) typography, this has always been satisfactory since I've
always used one-column pages.
I'm now trying a two column layout so I can include a sidebar, and am...

I have created a custom control, which draws a circle on the form. Now
resizing the circle at design is distorting it. When I resize it at run time,
it appears fine. How can I fix this problem thanks?

Hi,
I've put a site together for a client, who now wants to Content Manage both the text and images. Text isn't a problem and I've implemented this, image replacement again isn't a problem, but I'm worried that they will simply upload 1Mb photos from their camera and wonder why the performance goes down the pan. I've used ASPJpeg on another project, but this site is on shared hosting anf they wont install components, so does anyone have a...

Hi guys, I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my website and could really use some help on this particular issue. My page includes background music with a javascript music player on the main page below an iframe that is used for all content and navigation of the site and so that the music doesn't reload each time a page is switched. There is another javascript to resize...

I want an image in a tablecell to be scaled to fit the cell without
distorting the image.
I don't know what the image aspect ratio will be.
Sometimes I'd expect to see the width fit the cell and the height be smaller
than the cell.
Sometimes I'd expect to see the height fit the cell and the width be smaller

It has been years since I used flash, so I consider myself a rank amature. I'm Using Flash 8 and would like the code to be backward-compatible to ver. 6.
I have a big movie, with lots of images. I've comprimised the image quality as much as I dare, but it still takes 20-30 seconds to load (my client is in Paris, and claims to have the fastest connection in Paris, but it takes more than a minute to load it from there, even when loaded on his...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
