Hello everybody

Is it possible to disable the keys Ctrl + Alt + Delete in excel?
I searched a lot but found no results which can do that

What if you disable these keys in Excel,

And push ALT+TAB to switch to another application, and than press Ctrl+Alt+Del?

What use will it bring?

The real answer is, of course, that the keys have no meaning in Excel, and that they are handled by the Operating System.
Therefore it's not possible to disable then in Excel.

I am developing an application where I need to secure a workstation for periods of time. I can use BlockInput to stop users from task switching or messing with the keyboard, but I would like to disable Ctrl-Alt-Delete. It seems there seems to be only one real way I know about: Write a replacement Gina Driver to eat the keyboard events I dont want. Does anyone have a good template for this in Visual Basic .Net?

Hi y'all! I'm trying to adapt a VB.Net application that a former employee built to keep track of product issues that our customers report. While doing so, I bump into the following problem: a textbox contained in a user control that's put on a MDI Child form causes the application to hang as soon as you hit the Delete key while editing. Everything freezes and only Ctrl + Esc or Ctrl + Alt + Delete will bring things back to life.

Instead of Ctrl+Y redoing what's stored in 'future history', it REPLACES that information (which will then be forever lost) with a new command: delete current line. This shortcut is so ridiculous I actually contemplated that I must have accidentally changed it to this myself, but I don't see how that could have possibly happened. Where can I / should I report this? It doesn't exist in Visual C# .NET, so it's not generic to VS .NET.

Anyone know how to disable or redefine the Ctrl - hotkey which deletes a record? I have a multi page form that uses 14 records, each record handles 1-2 pages of the 18 page form. Occasionally , after being there initially, one of the records becomes deleted. I have found I can cause this by pressing CTRL and the MINUS key simultaneously. Even the confirm delete doesn't work. Any way to redefine the function of CTRL + MINUS? Bob

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
