PDF Creator: My Word documents are incorrectly orientated in Landscape. How can i prevent this?
I am using a programme called PDF Creator (i have also used another PDF creating programme that did a similar thing). When i'm converting a large Word document to a PDF format, some of the chapter pages come out in a Landscape layout. Is there any way that i can prevent this?

Does anyone know of a WYSIWYG page/ad creator with ftp upload abilities? I need a tool that will let my computer-illiterate friends create an ad, with pictures selected from their machine, and have it auto upload the images to the ftp. I don't really want to have it upload the page, but I can have it deleted afterward. The purpose is to let...

I'd like to Serialize a CodeCompileUnit (or other similar atomic representation of compiled code). Anyone know if this is possible (or some known workaround/implementation)? Additional details: "What can you do with a serialized CodeCompileUnit?" http://weblogs.cerkit.com/mearls/archive/2004/09/30/180.aspx Thanks,

I was just thinking about this, specifically wondering if there's any features that the C specification currently lacks, and which may be included in some future standardization. Of course, I speak only of features in the spirit of C; something like object-orientation, though a nice feature, does not belong in C. Something like being able...

Do the developers of Visual 2005 actuall use it??? There's lots of great things in VS2005 (mostly related to the outstanding work done on the CLR)... but in general the LITTLE THINGS totally drag it down.. especially the slightly-improved-but-not-all-that-much IDE. I waited for 3 years for this? Who's in charge of this mess? 1) Editing a...

My thoughts on this.... http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/Future/default.aspx?pull=/library/en-us/dnvs05/html/vb9overview.asp My thoughts: 1. Regarding Implicit types, I don't use type declaration for the benefits of performance. It's for the benefit of clarity of purpose when reading code. The first thing I do with neophyte...

I've been following some tutorials and reading books and have a basic grasp of the fundamental ADO.NET commands. But all the books I've read use a database with only 1 table. My database has many, so: 1. I know there is 1 OleDbConnectino object variable per database file, but is there one dataAdapter per table/query? (e.g. my tables:...

Or will have have to have one one to one relationship between datasources and gridviews? when I switch datasources - deletes don't happen and I get erros like this when I try to page or sort:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
