Programmaticall y Turn Off Excel Macro Warning

Quick question: is there a way to programmaticall y turn off the warning message for macros in Excel? (Macros can be harmful ... enable/disable)

The reason for the question is on our intranet page we have a link to an HR document a lot of people use. However, this document runs macros. We would like to, if possible, have the message NOT be displayed. It has been confusing some users as they don't know it's an Excel doc. Nor do they really know how to answer the question.

Thanks everyone:
- LB

PS: Not sure if this is the correct place for this post. Can a mod move it if it isn't. Thanks!

Excel warns about macros to make the user aware of certain macro viruses that can be transmitted through excel documents. I think that you can sign your excel templates using your companies certificate and then it wont complain about that since it will then be trusted. You might want to read through Excel's help files to see what they say.

We know WHY Excel does it but we also know that we are a trusted source. This is more a "nice to have" thing than a requirement. Thanks for the reply.

Can you sign the documents so that the other computers know that its from a trusted source?

Hi all, I am working with fairly large databases (> 500 Mb / < 2,000,000 rexcords), and often need to do action queries on these. I have the feeling that much of the computing power is going into building a table of changes so that you can be prompted "Are you sure to change xx records", and be able to reply no. I regularly get messages...

For...
