If I understand you correctly, you created a query that returns no data
while run inside your application (VB6), but does return data while run
through command centre on the same PC that you tried the VB6 program
from?
Can you try the query using a third party tool such as MS-Query, or
Access? This will give you a feel for whether your ODBC connection is
fine or not. I'm not sure but you may be connecting via CLI when using
the command centre.
If the ODBC is fine, then you have a VB6 issue. I do not program in
VB6 so I am not sure if it is a compiled program. If so you may have
not bound the resulting .bnd file to your database. Do you have other
VB6 programs that communicate with DB2 ?
If the ODBC is not fine then you must set this up.
Hope this will help you home in on the problem.

Richard McCutcheon.
