Unable to list tablespaces from Control Center

Environment:
AIX 4.3.3
DB2 UDB WSE version 8.1 fixpack 9a

When I access a database residing on this server from my workstation (Windows xp, servicepack2 - db2 udb ESE fixpack 10) and in Control Center try to list the tablespaces (click on Tablespaces in the left part of the GUI) I get this error message:

"SQL0444N Routine "*GET_TBSP" (specific name "SNAP_GET_TBSP") is implemented with code in library or path "...ib/bin/routine/db2dbroutext", function "snap_get_tbsp" whicj cannot be accessed. Reason code: "5". SQLSTATE=42724."

In the db2diag.log is this:

2005-10-19-10.34.32.019473+120 E17478C561 LEVEL: Error (OS)

I have tried to search the documentation abd other sources I could think of but cannot find anything useful to what causes this message or how to fix the problem. Has anyone seen something like this ?

Did you check the explanation of the error message? Reason code "5" is
caused by insufficient memory or an unresolved reference.

Check the FP10 instructions and seed if they state that the packages
need to be rebound to all databases. If this is true; then you will need
to rebind them to the AIX database if you didn't do this.
