Summary: SQL3255 Reason code 2 from db2move with DB2 v9.1 fixpack 5.
on Win32.
Win32 DB2 version 9.1 fixpack5 , performing DB2MOVE COPY with
SCHEMAMAP between two local databases in the same 32bit instance.
Problem: DB2MOVE COPY giving SQL3255N reason code 2 during the load
phase.
Command line: db2move sourcedb COPY -sn oldschema -co TARGET_DB newdb
USER userid USING password SCHEMA_MAP((old schema,newschem a))
Both sourcedb and target_db are in the same instance.
Sourcedb is a database that is restored+migrat ed from db2v8.
NEWDB is a freshly created db2v9 database, automatic storage yes ,
autoconfigure etc.
There are approximately 400 tables to copy, but around 60 tables get
the SQL3255N error, and the thing that seems to be in common
is that they all have a CLOB column.
The db2diag.log has these entries:

Hi All,
Im attempting to use db2move from 7.1.0 to 8.1.4. It fails to import
tables defined using the columns with GENERATED ALWAYS.
The error message generated follows:

the target column has been defined as GENERATED ALWAYS.

There's no schema1 in db2. I use something like the following, but I
end up getting tables under schema2 in db2. Any help? Thanks!
$db2move db1 export -tn table1,table2 -sn schema1 -u db2inst1 -p
db2inst1
$db2move db2 import -u schema2 -p schema2

Hi Everyone,
i have a doubt regarding db2move utility.
I have created a database with circular logging (primary logs - 2,
secondary logs - 1). I imported tables into this new db using db2move.
A table which has 1147020 records has been imported without any
"transaction log" error. But if i happen to insert the same amount of
records into table using import it failed.

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
