MQ Functions included in DB2 Workgroup Edition?

Anyone know if MQ Functions (made available by "enable_MQFunct ions" System
Command) are included in DB2 Workgroup Edition, or is Enterprise Edition
required? This would be for DB2 LUW 8.2 or 9.1.

Hi Mark,

Paul Zikopoulos has written lots of articles in the past on the subject of
the various DB2 Editions and the differences between them.
Only last month he updated 2 of these articles on DevWorks to reflect the
situation for 9.5 :

A. "Compare the distributed DB2 9.5 data servers"
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/db...kopoulos1.html

B. "Which distributed edition of DB2 9.5 is right for you?"
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/db...GX11&S_CMP=ART

I don't think you will find the answer to your specific question in any of
these documents, but they both contain an (MSN) email-address where the
author can be reached. (I don't post it here for obvious reasons).
I've met Paul shortly at IDUG-Europe, and he seemed to be a very nice guy
who would be glad to help you out on this.

HTH

Hi have a small network setup and have MS sql server on workstation. Can access it locally but cannot access it from other work stations. I am assuming it is some sort of logon error, being it is not a domain. Any ideas on getting by this ?

Hello, I have been going through several header source files which define classes with inline functions. In the case where the inline functions are not defined in place, the inline functions from all classes within the header file are included via a separate file, at the end of the file, with a directive of the form: #include <foo.inl>

DB2 8.2 Workgroup Server Edition is supposed to be limited to servers with 4 CPU's and 16 GB of memory. It can be licensed by user, or by number of CPU's. Are these limitations hard or soft? In other words, if the server with WSE 8.2 has more the 4 CPU's, will DB2 use them? If the server has more than 16 GB of memory, can DB2 be configured to use more than 16 GB of memory for a single database (without swapping)?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
