I have the following php code:
function Today2SQLDatetime () {
$today = date ("Y-m-d H:i:s");
print "date (\"Y-m-d H:i:s\") returned $today<br>";
return $today;
return date ("Y-m-d H:i:s");
} // Today2SQLDatetime
Most of the time this works just fine. For today, for example, it

When I do the following (the date represents 2/1/2004) getDay returns
1, and it should be returning 0. It's the only month for which we see
this behavior.
var oDate = new Date()
oDate.setYear(2004)
oDate.setMonth(1)
oDate.setDate(1)
iDay = oDate.getDay()

I'm tossing my date class into the public domain because I'm tired of it
sitting around gathering dust. It was first created over a decade ago
and has been evolving by bits and pieces since then.
Here is the doc with the source+test linked off of it:
http://home.twcny.rr.com/hinnant/cpp_extensions/Gregorian_date.html
It has a relatively small footprint (2 words typical). It has a cute
construction interface that makes it very...

On my machine in the office I change the computer setting to English (UK) so
the date format is dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy for US.
This problem happens in either Access or SQL Server.
In the database I have a table with Date/time column. The database is
located on a machine that is set to dd/mm/yyyy also.
When I enter date 7/1/08 (as in January 7, 2008), it stores it in the
database as 1/7/08 instead of 7/1/08. Why is it like that...

Are there some date and time comparison functions that would compare, say,
Is 10/05/05 later than 09/22/02? (or 02/09/22 format, yy/mm/dd)
Is 02/11/07 the same as 02/11/07?
Is 14:05:18 after 22:02:51? (24 hour day is fine)
How about the date after 02/28/04 is 02/29/04, or the date after 09/30/08 is
10/01/08?

Hello,
Today is Thursday.
However Now.day and day(now) are retutning 6, which equates to
DayOfWeek.Saturday.
This is causing havoc here as the system currently thinks the offices are
shut, casing lots of issues.
Does anybody have any ideas what's happenning?

Hi All,
I am getting wrong date when I am using DateTime.Parse function. The following is the code..
DateValue = DateTime.Parse(datarow.ToString()).ToString("MM/dd/yyyy");
I am taking the data from a proc keeping it in a datarow. While displaying the value I am getting the date value one less then it is in the DB. e.g. 3/31/2010 values comes as 3/30/2010 (for some timezone). This is a code written by someone else so basically I need to...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
