I think this is beyound the scope of this group.
You may want to call support.
They will want to get these files:
Dump File:/home/gfxprod1/sqllib/db2dump/61834.000 Data:RDS AGENT CB
Dump File:/home/gfxprod1/sqllib/db2dump/61834.000 Data:RDS APPL CB

The rc tells no more than is in the diag log.
A -902 from relational dataservices.. caused by a Signal 11

Cheers

Calling support is definitely what you need to do.

They will also want /home/gfxprod1/sqllib/db2dump/t61834.000. (Note the 't'
prefix on the filename.)

(1). AFAIK, DB2 UDB Version8.1 began to support AIX asynchronous IO.
(2). What is the version and release of your DB2 UDB client? Upgrade it to
at least Version7.2 + Fixpak7. Of course the best way is upgrade your client
to Fixpak13, the same as server.
I think the root reason of the crash is from DB2 UDB communication (RA)
layer.

Good Luck,
FRX

I supposed IBM withdraw the service support of Version7.2 at the end of

I think this is beyound the scope of this group.
You may want to call support.
They will want to get these files:
Dump File:/home/gfxprod1/sqllib/db2dump/61834.000 Data:RDS AGENT CB
Dump File:/home/gfxprod1/sqllib/db2dump/61834.000 Data:RDS APPL CB
Calling support is definitely what you need to do.

They will also want /home/gfxprod1/sqllib/db2dump/t61834.000. (Note the

't' prefix on the filename.)

Not quite true. It's just now starting to cost for support.
Rumour has it there are DB2 PE (that would be the predecessor of DB2 V5
EEE) out there.

Cheers

Greetings, Having a major problem here. running version 8.2 on win2003 server. The problem I am having is backing up a database seems to get to the last part of the backup and then fails. This brings the whole instance down and it has to be restarted. In addition the job seems to be stuck in the TOOLSDB as if I try to delete the backup job I get "The task is currently running". So I went to the command line and tried "db2 backup database...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
