project I am doing, we make extensive use of quest due to its ease of
use and speed.
If you know of a product with similar capabilities, please let me know.
My license is running out this month. Inexpensive is very important
since we're a dining room table startup.

I don't normally think of "inexpensiv e" and "Quest Central" in the
same sentence.
BMC has some nice products (SmartDBA, and the DGI Classic Suite).
And of course there is also IBM DB2 Performance Expert.
None of these is particularly cheap (in my opinion), but they are
all in the same relative price range.

I am in exactly the same boat, except out License lasts to end of the year.
Maybe Quest will issue us with License key to keep us all working while
the Litigation is in progress ??
This has come as a real shock to us, why the hell are CA allowed to
stop Quest carrying on with Downloads etc... even before the case has
been proven?
Is it guilty until proven innocent ?
- I don't know how American Law works, but this seems to have been
the precedent(or is that President) in American Law in recent Years?

WTF??? I hadn't heard that! Don't they inform their customers? As
noted in another post, it's not a cheap product. We've shelled out
lots of $$$ for this thing and we're all used to using it now.

I built a form to access a query with a 2 field primary key. It
should use 2 controls to find the unique record and display the other
field values on the form. In the criteria section of the query, I set
the 2 primary key values equal to the 2 control values on my form.
When I input a value to these 2 controls the query finds the correct
record, so I know my query with the criteria works.
