If you're using archive logging with the user exit enabled, archive logs
will be copied to the active log directory during rollforward, if your user
exit routine supports this function and you have not disabled this
capability.
Crash recovery does not touch your archive logs unless you have enabled
infinite logging. Log files needed for crash recovery and rollback remain
in you your active log directory.

During a ROLLFORWARD recovery, are the log datasets copied from the
archive log directory to the active log directory? I know the log datasets
are copied from archive log directory to active log directory during a
ROLLBACK (for example in a crash recovery), but was wondering if it is
the same during a ROLLFORWARD recovery too.
TIA
Raquel.
