Why not try paid email services from www.email.biz & hustmail.com?

There are loads of services that provide free email accounts; the big question is, what you expect from such a service. Why is it that you're bored with Gmail and Ymail? What do you want that those cannot provide? If you just want a list of providers that will give you free email addresses, a google search for something like "free email" should suffice.

I have an online directory of alumni from a high school that runs PHP with a MySql backend containing contact info, email addresses, etc. Some of the alumni have begun to complain about receiving spam to their accounts, some of the spam saying that they "know" them from this site. I've also had alumni that have created email accounts to specifically use just for this site, and they've started getting spam as well. I "thought" I thought of...

I realize this is not solely an ASP question, but I thought you guys might know the answer and I couldn't find anywhere else to post this. If you have suggestions for this I am more than happy to post somewhere else. How can I, using ASP code, validate whether or not an email address is a real one? For example, if I have the email address called roy@rogers.net how can I determine if it is real?

I have an ASP automatic email confirmation code on Windows 2003 Server. My problem is that the message can be submitted to only some email accounts such as hotmail or yahoo, but cannot to my office account. Why? Also, for hotmail accounts, the email is sent to junk mailbox instead of inbox. Why this happens? Do I need to set up any special SMTP configurations?

I am creating both a text and html version of the same newsletter and sending using CDOSYS. Both of them incorporate a list of stories drawn from a database which are assigned to a variable storyloop. The text version works fine, but partway throught the html version when viewed in Outlook 2000, it goes wrong. View source shows nothing obviously wrong, except that partway through the storyloop, it just stops and then goes onto the...

Hello, I am interested in subscribing to Dreamhost's Crazy plan. I want to offer a free e-mail service for students, and I want them to be able to create e-mail accounts on the fly using PHP. Is there an API that I could use to do so? I don't want to have to create these accounts manually, and I prefer them to sign up, like they would do on Hotmail...Is there a way to do it? They say it is possible to create accounts only from their...

Hello, user@x.com receives an email from user@a.com. I want to forward that email to user@y.com. I want the contents/header to remain intact, with the exception of adding "X-Forwarded-For". In other words, when user@y.com received the email, it will be from user@a.com, but will contain a reference that it was forwarded by user@x.com. I'm piping all email destined for user@x.com to a php script. I've seen some very complicated...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
