sending using CDOSYS.
Both of them incorporate a list of stories drawn from a database which are

I'm writing a simple EXE in VB.NET to be run on our intranet (Win2K network,
XP machines). When it's done running I want to notify the user via email.
I've got the email working...how do I ascertain the user's default email
address without user interaction? There is only one user per machine, and we
are all using Outlook or Outlook Express.

Hi,
A little while ago I asked if anyone could help me with how to create an
email using MS Outlook that contained an embedded picture file.
Thanks to Jay Harlow I was able to get this working using a code example
from http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/htmlimg.htm that details the
procedure and with a bit of tweaking I managed to get it working really
well.
I now find that there is a new user on a laptop that always gets an error at...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
