Without knowing the thermal conductivity, or the black-body radiation coming back to the wall, there is no way of determining the flux. You can assign values, or variables, which is the best approach.

So, that said, what are you trying to do with C++?

Hi, I've just taught myself C++, so I haven't learnt much about style or the like from any single source, and I'm quite styleless as a result. But at the same time, I really want nice code and I go to great lengths to restructure my code just to look concise and make it more manageable. When I say this, I'm also referring to the way I write my functions. It seems to me sometimes that I shouldn't have many void functions accepting...

In the project I'm maintaining I've seen two distinct techniques used for returning an object from a function. One is AType function(AType const& arg) { AType retval(arg); // or default construction and then.. // some other processing and/or changing 'retval' return retval; }

Have ported Until 2.5.2 which is a highly portable embedded FORTH-like language system to BeOS. Turned on -Wall cause I'm anal about cleaning up ports if I'm doing them, and have all but ONE warning that I don't seem to be able to get cleaned up... Simply... printf("%-10s %12lx %1d\n", temp->NFA->name, &temp, temp->NFA->immediate); produces a gcc2.95 warning: prim.c: In function `display_word':

I'm trying to create a function that splits up a column by spaces, and I thought creating a function that finds the spaces with CHARINDEX and then SUBSTRING on those values would an approach. I get an error saying that the I have an Invalid column 'Course_Number'. Not sure why but I am very new to User Defined Functions. Here is what I have so far: CREATE FUNCTION CourseEvalBreakdown (

I want to apply heat on a tube surface (3D). The heat is to be applied on a straight line on the tube. The equation of line is x= 87.5 y = 126.1620 + (-1*1004.0820) z= 166.1620 + (-1*-1004.0880) Since x is constant is given asposition holder, real x; For this constant value of x, heat is appiled on the line with the equation above. (If y and z are satisfied. I have created my code below and when I try to interprete it, there is an...

I am trying to write udf for heat flux on X-Y plane in Fluent having the formula Q(Y) = (0.304)/(deltaY + deltaY/2)^-3 Where deltaY = 50cm and Y = 10m but I am unable to do it. Can anyone write udf for heat flux? Y is the length on Y-axis and X whixh is equal to 5m is length on X-axis. Q is heat flux goes through X-Y plane in Z direction. Geometry is a cube with dimension 10*5*0.005 all are in meters.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
