I have this code, works perfectly on Windows server, but now i'm trying
to run it on a Linux server, the form submits, i get no errors, but the
photo doesnt upload, and the caption file doesnt write.... any ideas why??

A programmer developed an AMP (Apache/MySQL/PHP) application
for me. When he was done, he sent me the PHP files and the MySQL
dump file. Now, when I connect to the application on my LAN using
http://192.168.1.106/~mlh/credifree/index.php the AMP app still
thinks the data resides somewhere else. It runs fine - as long as I
leave my LAN's external internet connection up. But if I unplug my
LAN from the world, my app locks up.

I currently have a page that is running from a windows based server
with frontpage extensions installed. My mouseover script works great.
I am now in the process of developing another page that will run from
a linux server that will not have the frontpage extensions installed.
My question is, does the differnt platform matter with javascript.
Will the exact code that is working on the windows server work on the
linux server?

I'm working with an Outlook object and I, thru VB code, execute menu option
"Purge All Items" (which deletes all "marked for deletion" emails from the
MAPI folder on the server and in outlook).
Outlook then complain about that it can't complete that action since outlook
is not connected to the server... even though I am connected to the
internet. How do I make outlook be "connected to server" without running a
"Send/receive"?

Here's some details:
Server and workstation both in the same workgroup
Logged into server as local Administrator
Logged into workstation as a local user that is only in the Users group
The local user on the workstation is also defined with same name and
password on the server (and only in the Users group on the server)
Server is Windows Server 2003 running IIS 6.0
Workstation is Windows XP Professional
ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) web site

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
