I am not all that familiar with windows command pompt but if you found a command/series of commands that would accomplish this then you could use the system call to get the desired information and parse the results. This should leave you with the information you want.

Hi, I have a C++ app which needs to work with a server on a remote machine. The manufacturer has given us a set of DLL's which provide API calls to send requests to the server and receive an information feed from it. My app is compiled under Micro$oft VS.NET 2003 with option /MT to statically link in the C runtime libraries msvcrt.lib etc. My app has to store information from the server and answer requests from many remote clients. These...

Hello, we are running DB2 UDB EEE Version 7.2 Fixpack 12 on a two machine Windows 2000 Advanced Server Cluster in a dss environment. Some dynamic sql statements for etl processes and even some for online user queries switched overnight from some minutes runtime to a few hours or "never come back" statements. We didn't change a single database or instance parameter. Even the

Dear All! I've got a question which is rather system specific case. Suppose I am dealing with a large array of ~4Gig of entities. The question is : what is faster , to address it through a binary file created on disk or using dynamic memory which is extended through a large swap file (again on disk)? Note that swap file is created at the point of the disk partition. I would be grateful if in addition to your comments you could point me...

Hi All, I've been working on a means to create dynamic asemblies (modules actually) from parsing XSD schemas which creates a perfect .net representation of the schema at hand (dynamically). My next hurdle is to deserialize xml documents (that conform to the schemas from which dynamic modules were derived) to the types from the dynamic module.

Hello, I have an asp.net application. The application dynamically creates an invoice. It is important to see and approve the invoice before it is updated in the database. So...I was dynamically creating a PDF file and writing the PDF file to disk and then updating an ifram src attribute on the server side to reference the newly created file.

I don't care what .net language this come in but I really need to determine if a disk is dynamic or basic. I have posted something in the WMI group but no one knows how to do it. Does anyone have any idea how I can determine this? At this point I don't care if it is a third plugin freeware app I use that writes it to a text file that I could read out. Thanks!

In 2003, I was able to do that using VB, the following code worked: Private Sub Detail_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer) Me!.Picture = Me!

Hello, I am fairly new to VB6 and I am experiencing a problem with a dynamic array. I made a program that calculates Body Mass Index and saves each individual BMI number to a sequential disk file. I have set up a Summary on another form that will break down all of the saved BMI numbers by percentage. I am using a dynamic array to load the information from the disk file, but for some reason it is not inputing the last record in the file. ...
