Hallo, I have a strange problem here:
I a VC++6 project that compiles without any errors. If i now include a
certain header file from my project into a header file of a certain
dialog class i get several compiler errors (missing storage-class or
type specifiers) in the mentioned header file and in a header file of
another dialog header file in my project. I don't expect a solution
from you but can anyone give me a hint how i can find the...

Missing Help Files
When I enter "recordset" as the keyword and search the Visual Basic Help index,
I get many topics of interest in the resulting list. But there isn't any
information available from clicking on many of the available topics (mostly
methods but some properties are also unavailable). This same problem occurs
with many, if not most, keywords.
Is there any way I can activate these "missing" help topics? HELP!

Hi all.. my application uses a custom dll which should be in the same
directory as the exe file. If the dll file is missing the application
immediately aborts with a "Application has generated an exception that could
not be handled" exception.
I would like to catch the error and display a meaningful message. I tried
TRY CATCH in the SUB Main(), I tried ON ERROR in the SUB Main(), I also
tried to test for a fileinfo.exists on the dll...

Meant to post this here but put it into the c# NG by mistake.
Been reading the doc about NCB store.
I need to send a small solution to someone and notice my .ncb file is much
larger than all the other files put together. I tried deleting it and then
opening VS and it appears to work OK.
It seems that if the .ncb file is missing it get regenerated. Do you know
that to be true?

Hi Guys,
I am trying to include my little script in my html report.
I have done an external JS file which contains it.
If you remember, you have helped me to detect if the asp page was
present by using ajax.
If not present is gracefully stay silent.
The problem is now that when the JS is not present (and it can be) MSIE
gives a lot of errors and one has to kill it.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
