If you hadn't posted here, you wouldn't have to be sorry.

Your question has nothing to do with C, and any advice you do get here
is likely to be useless (or worse). Find a more appropriate forum for
your question.

You can research the fundamentals of the companies at (free) services
such as investing.busin essweek.com .

The appropriate stock symbols appear to be:

HON -- Honeywell International
HONE.BO -- Honeywell Automation, Bombay Stock Exchange
TCS.BO -- Tatas Consultancy Services, Bombay Stock Exchange
You can examine figures such as the market capitalization and
look at the stock price trends, to get a feeling for the likelyhood
that your job would disappear suddenly with market fluctuations.

And you can encourage more people to post blatantly off-topic
questions here by attempting to answer them.

Please don't.

Surely you had interviews at these companies? What judgment did you form
of the atmosphere there, whether you think you'd fit in well with the
setup, what sort of work you'll be doing, etc.?

In my experience, the name of the company really doesn't count for very
much compared to working conditions, pay, how smart the other
programmers are, and most importantly how much freedom you get to do
interesting stuff.

If you don't want to answer the questions, then don't answer them - kill
the thread and forget about it. Why do you feel the need to be a
busybody and tell other people what they should and shouldn't do?

I didn't answer (or attempt to answer) the question: I redirected
to other resources.

Well, yes and no; you also emphasized the financial health of the
companies, something the OP didn't ask about. But I see your point.

What's really pathetic - and I do mean pathetic, to the point of being
sad - really sadly concerned for their tiny little lives - is the fact
that he (KT) criticized this "yet another stupid job search spam/scam"
on the basis of being OT (the favored whipping boy) rather than, as it
should have been criticized, as "yet another stupid job search spam/scam".

OT is such a religious thing. It really has no basis in the real world.

I have designed a couple databases for my company and a database program for a soccer club and a very basic contact manager program for a sales rep. My question is: Is there any kind of career designing/maintaining Access databases or is that something that I may want to get into SQL or Oracle (or some other database program). Where can I go to research this further and possibly take some classes for this type of thing, either online or...

A lot of people express disdain when I mention that I like C and find it easier to use and understand than other languages. I detest the idea of switching from one language to another and not being able to learn even 1 properly. I just don't believe in having thousands of languages mentioned on my resume. I did this in my engineering course and gained nothign out of it. I don't consider my self proficient in C either but I'm trying. This...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
