It seems like this is the second time I have come across this with a Pythonmodule, and I'd like to get some perspective on it.
I tried to build PyPerl (on my Win XP machine) and got the following:
Microsoft Windows XP
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.
C:\Python23\Lib\site-packages\pyperl-1.0.1>setup.py install
running install

Hi,
We are a small company (2 developers, 6 other people) and develop "out of
the box" applications for local government. Our databaseplatform is Oracle.
We will stick with Oracle since all out customers will stick with Oracle. We
develop in Borland Delphi (with DOA-components) and in Borland JBuilder
(with JDBC). We are now considering to change our main development platform
from Delphi to Microsoft Visual Studio.
Things that worry...

We are using Visual Studio 2003.NET (C++) for the development
of our software in the fields digital signal processing and
numerical acoustics.
One of our programs was working correctly if we are using the
Debug-Version of the program, but it fails (or leads to false
results) if we are using the Release-Version. After a long
debugging session we found out, that our program was working
correctly, but the floating point processing...

In order to make some very large projects available to other developers who
do not use Visual Studio (or even Windows, in some cases), I need to generate
standard-format Make files.
In Visual C++ 6.0, there was an "export makefile" command on the "Project"
menu. Now that I am using Visual Studio .Net 2003, I can no longer find this
command. The help system provides no clue.
I must have this capability!
(I apologize if this is the...

I have a fresh install of VS2008, and when I drag a data grid on and
try and
bind it (create a new connection) I get an error.
If I connect to a database in the database window and then try and
drag a
table into a dataset, I get the same error.
The error is: "Some Update Commands Could not be generated

The database returned the following error: Failed to find or load

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
