Hi,
I have the following problem. I analyse data from a file. When I am done
analysing all the data that was in that file, I want to let my program
wait until this specific file has changed (which indicates that new data
has been added to the file from a third party program that I don't
control). If that file has changed, I want my program to continue.
What would be the appropriate command to check if the file changed? And
how can I...

Every once in a while since I moved to Python 2.4 I've been seeing the
following exception in threading.py Condition:

Hi all,
I have a webpage that does a long process in javascript. I am opening
a popup page while this process is running. The only problem is, the
popup page doesnt finish loading and the popup window is kinda like
stalled while the mainpage goes about finishing the long process.
How can I make sure that the popup finish loading everything before
the long process starts?

Hi just wondering if there is a way to set up a wait for object in vb.net as
if a put a delay in between the fill and the databind things work ok, but if
not the page is reloading without the updated information,(stored procedure
is taking too long to complete).
the time needed for this delay will change depending on the time the "stored

The sleep() method hangs up the application and does not respond to
events. So, I wrote a small delay loop that will allow the application
to respond to events.
