Is there any EASY way to highlight a full row in a continuous form so
that as i navigate up & down the table/continuous form using the arrow
keys, the entire line (all fields) get highlighted ?
This will give the effect of a bar moving up & down. BTW, all fields
are locked so this form is View-Only & not editable.
Thx & Best Rgds,
Prakash.

Hi,
How can we run the app on full-screen. I mean all the controls such as,
text boxes, data grids on the form would also be resized or re-located
automatically when we press maximize button on the top right corner
of the form.
Currently, when I maximize the form.. controls on the form are not
relocating.
How can we do this..

But in the code behind when I try to get the FullFile path using
file1.PostedFile.FilePath it is not giving the full path (c:\test\test.pdf).

Hello All,
I have a input box on the HTML page with the type set to file. What I
want is that when the value changes in the file textbox, it should give
me the full file path. I have even tried passing the value to a hidden
control but all it does is passes only the File Name and not the file
path.
How do I go about it. I tried checking GMAIL service (Compose Mail) but
all I could get is that they are passing the window and the file...

You can open http://www.fillweb.com in IE and View->Source to see the
latest version full featured count down timer source code, or you may
also copy the code below and save in a "*.htm" file, for example

I was trying to double buffer a control while drawing on CE devices. The code
below is compiled under the compact framework but you can also run it on the
desktop and it produces the same problem.
The basic problem is that my controls don't seem to correctly process an
invalidate call after a window is dropped on top on them, mainly the "cheat"
windows such as a combobox drop down or a loading symbol or volume control
(which you get in...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
