Hi all
Is there anyway of determining the correct size of a label depending on it's
contents? I cannot use AutoSize as that ends up spreading over the edge of
the form, and besides I need this label to be docked also, it is docked to
the Top so the Width will always be automatically sized.
Any ideas? I can't find anything useful in the help.
Thanks

Hello,
when I use
<asp:label font-size="16px" text="Hello World" runat="server" />
and run FireFox Browser the output of "Hello World" is not in Size 16px.
The size will be ignored and I can not find it in the HTML Source Code.
Why is it a problem with FireFox and what is the solution how to set sizes
in Labels?

Hi All :)
I've created an UserControl, which has a couple of properties that are
collections (generic lists of some objects). It would be nice, if
control refreshed each time I add a new item to the collection (using
StringCollectionEditor). Is there any attribute I can use, or perhaps I
have to create a new class that inherites from List<Tand subscribe on
some event? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Greetings

Hi,
I feel I'm going around circles on this one and would appreciate some other
points of view.
From a design / encapsulation point of view, what's the best practise for
returning a private List<as a property.
Consider the example below, the class "ListTest" contains a private "List<>"
called "strings" - it also provides a public method to add to that list,

I've been able to get the <qelement and the CSS quotes property to
work well together in English, but not in Russian or mixed Russian and
English. I probably don't have a firm enough grasp of the CSS syntax
possibilities. This is exacerbated by the fact that I code in XHTML
1.1, where the <langproperty is not allowed (the xml:lang property
is used instead). My XHTML 1.1 pages contain both English and Russian
strings.
For Russian, I'm...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
