Help with data files

Define the file-pointers *Infile and *Outfile and link them to
a given input file Sale.dat (which is in the homework/directory)
and the output file Comm.dat (which you will create in this
assignment). Use while(fgets()!= NULL) to read all the lines in
Sale.dat. For odd number lines (containing full names) sscanf
name and surname, print the full name on the screen and in
the output file Comm.dat. For even number lines (with amount of
sale), sscanf &sale and calculate the corresponding
commission by using the above table; then print the sale and the
commission on the screen and in the output file Comm.dat, as shown
below.

The objective is to scan the contents in a file and print it out. Somehow, I can't get the printout to show. This is the program I wrote.

#include <stdio.h>
main()
{
char line[81];
FILE *Infile;
FILE *Outfile;
Infile = fopen("Sale.dat ", "r");
Outfile = fopen("Sale.dat ", "w");
if((Infile == NULL) || (Outfile == NULL)){
printf("error opening the file\n");
exit(911);}
while(fgets(lin e, 81, Infile) != NULL){
printf("%s", line);}
fclose(Infile);
fclose(Outfile) ;
}

Thanks!

Missing Help Files When I enter "recordset" as the keyword and search the Visual Basic Help index, I get many topics of interest in the resulting list. But there isn't any information available from clicking on many of the available topics (mostly methods but some properties are also unavailable). This same problem occurs with many, if not most, keywords. Is there any way I can activate these "missing" help topics? HELP!

This will be my very first VB.Net application and it's pretty simple. But I've got a snag in my syntax somewhere. Was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction. The history: My work involves creating custom packages of our software product for golf courses that purchase our software. The course data is kept as a back up in the event the course needs us to replace their custom files. Each course has a folder of it's own...

I have been receiving a "Floating point exception" from Perl after my program has run several iterations. I have not been able to pin point the location of the error, and I am clueless. Especially as I can't seem to find exactly what this exception means. 1) What is a floating point exception? 2) What causes it? 3) Is there any way to fix it? I have included my code below, but as there is quite a bit any suggestion of how to handle...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
