Hi.
What are the best toolbar images/icons to use in an office style application
(looking for toolbar icons for things like tables, bullets, alignment etc)?
Looking for a good, slick, MS office type look and feel.
Can one use the MS office icons from MS office, excel etc from an MSDN
subscription? Which version of the MSDN would I need and what CD would they
be on? What would the conditions for including such icons in my app?

Hi,
I created a toolbar, added button and Icons from an ImageList.
The icons are transparent for disable mode.
The problem is that the icons does not look good, a blue outlet is added to
the icon.
If the image is not transparent everything looks good, but of-course, when
the buttons are disabled, the icons all gray.

Hey everyone. I have Visual Basic .NET 2003 and am trying to show images on
a treeview control. I have the imagelist on the form filled with images,
and have the ImageList property of the treeview control set to the imagelist
containing the images I want to be displayed next to each node.
It seems that no matter what I do there will be no images displayed next to
the nodes during runtime. I tried creating nodes during designtime using...

Hello,
I am trying to make a toolbar at the bottom of my pocket pc app with
'New', 'Open', 'Delete', etc. icons on the buttons. I'm pretty sure
that there are some standard system icons in VB.NET, but I have not
been able to find them.
Any Suggestions on how to add these images, if they exist, to my
toolbar buttons?
Thanks,
Lindsay

I asked this question previously without response, so I'll rephrase
it.
I have a VB6 app which uses a third party menu/toolbar activex
control. The app includes a commonly found option, "Use Large Icons".
With the third party control, using multi-res icons (which include
alpha channel icons) results in the correct size and resolution.
I would like to use the native controls in VB2005 if possible. I note
that in the VB2005 IDE and...

I have code in the OnExit event of a control on a subform. The code
works properly in this instance. If, however, I put the same code in
the OnExit event of a control on a Tab Control of a main form, the code
errors out at the 2nd line. The error number is 13 and the description
is "Type mismatch". Both controls are memo fields. I suspect that
"Screen.ActiveControl.Parent" is not referencing the form as intended.
Thanks for any help,...

I created custom toolbar icons that look and function similar to the
standard MS Access Fill/Back Color and Fill/Fore Color toolbar icons.
My custom icons call a function that uses the Terry Kreft and Stephan
Lebans 'aDialogColor' function. I modified the function slightly to
open the full color palette with CC_FULLOPEN + CC_RGBINIT and pass to
the function the color that I want to set initially before calling
ChooseColor.
My issue is,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
