Please suggest me some sites

I am working for a company and working for printer drivers. Most of the
work is in ddk, VC++ and C++, gdi calls. I have studied C++ and ddk and
VC++ is new for me. Can anybody suggest me some good web sites for
study, some free tutorials on the net, some easy study material or some
certification in this field which will be helpful for me and some good
sites from where i can prepare. I am a fresher in the company. Please
suggest.

How the hell did a "fresher" get a DDK gig??

I'm fully qualified to DDK, and out of work right now. That's entirely my
fault, but I'm going to blame you anyway. Please go fly a kite.

Oh, and your question is off-topic here, because this newsgroup is only
qualified to discuss the raw C++ language itself.

Hi all, I know a little python (not the OOP part) learnt by studying the online tutorial. Now I would like to learn it more thoroughly. I have access to 'Programming Python' which I liked (on flipping through the pages), but the problem is it deals only with version 2.0 of Phython.

I have designed a site for a client, but they have hired an internet marketing person to incrase their search engine ranking and traffic. He wants to put extra-large fonts on every page which will make the design looks a bit rediculous. He also said that the big text cannot be hidden. I am just trying to find a compromise. Here are the questions: (1) Is it true that a page with an <H1> tag and very big font size will make a search...

I have a common Class Library that I use on a QA server which has 10+ sites that all use this library... I got everything working with the current version installed in the GAC and since some aspx pages reference this via the @REGISTER page directive I added the assembly in the machine.config so I didn't have to deal with it in all of the individual web.config files: <add assembly="Core.ClassLibrary, Version=1.4.4.5, etc..." /> Now - when...

Hello, This is NOT a troll, it's a genuine question. Please read right through to see why. I have been using Vusual Basic and Classic ASP for some years, and have now started looking at ASP.NET. At first glance, it looks excellent, albeit nothing that couldn't have been done to Classic ASP. I have been through a few tutorials and was impressed with how quickly you can get database info onto a page.

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm a researcher in need of developing an automated database and would like to see if someone here is willing to consider putting together for me a simple website. I'm not expecting a freebie of course, I'll pay if you're interested. This is the outline of the project: This would be a website that pulls records from closed eBay auctions and stores them in predefined categories. The data would be...

Friends, your opinions and advice, please: I have a very simple JavaScript image-swap which works on my end but when uploaded to my host at http://buildit.sitesell.com/sunnyside.html does not work. To rule out all possible factors, I made up a dummy page for an index.html to upload, along the lines of <html><head><title></title></ head><body></body></html>.; the image-swap itself is your basic <img src="blah.png"...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
