Hello,
I need a WYSIWYG pure java editor component or a viewer with an API
for mouse click events and a way to reverse map the click position to
the XSL-FO source or tree. It should support PDF (and possibly RTF).
If nothing like this is out there, a pure java transformer library
with the support necessary for building the component would fit the
bill.
Thanks

Hi;
I just moved from vb 6.0 to vb.net. I am trying to add MS Calendar control
to my toolbox. After the control is added, it is not enabled. Is there dll I
have to add? Can anyone who could give me a step-by-step on how to add this
control? All help would be appreciated.

I'm writing a web application which has the following requirements for
the presentation of tabular data in HTML to users:
* Columns and rows can be re-sized by dragging the mouse
* Internal vertical scrolling is implemented, with column headers
remaining fixed during scrolling
* Works with Internet Explorer and Netscape. Compatibility with
additional browsers is highly desirable.

Google uses some javascript for their Google Suggest service
(http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en). When you type
'whatever', the script (http://www.google.com/ac.js, or, more readable,

It looks a bit like LiveSearch, which has a hell of a cleaner script

Ok, I really am going to hit this PC in a minute!
Does anyone know how to add a Description Field to Public Functions,
Procedures and Subroutines of a .NET DLL Component (Not a UserControl) that
will display in the design environment when your component is referenced by
another project (Exactly the same way that any of the Microsoft .NET
Components would i.e. System.Windows.Forms.Binding would pop up a tooltip
stating what the calling...

Hi,
Several months ago i've asked some information about the best way how to
have some particular columns (progress bar, checkbox, images, color
picker,...) in a ListView component.
It seems that ListView is a complex component and a lot of people advise
to build a custom component but not from ListVIew itself.
Some use a datagrid component as base component, some build a component

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
