Hello,
I have a table with width as 98% and all cell widths as 120. However,
these cell widths change with resolution changes. I have to find the
current cell width and its left position. Is there a browser
independent way to do that?
Best Regards,
Asra Baig

Hi,
Was wondering if it's possible to find the left position of a table cell if
the cell is created dynamically.
I have a table with a single cell. When a button is clicked, I'd like to add
another cell to it, give the cell a class style and then find the cell's
left position.
Right now I'm using doing this:

I made a datagrid and it contains several columns.
The number of columns depend on what users select from a dropdown list.
Therefore the number of columns changes.
I would like to find the last item (or last cell number) from the datagrid.
Is there a way to find the last cell number? (Something like "ubound"
function for array).
Thanks.

Hello,
I have a datalist which I am using to view and modify some data. When
the user clicks the "edit" link, the appropriate cell is moved into edit
mode, as specified in the EditTemplate.
The problem is that if the data table is longer than the browser window,
so the user has to scroll down to see parts of it, then when they are
taken to edit mode, the page loads and stays at the top of the table.
They then have to scroll down and...

Find what cell is clicked in a datagrid
When clicking a cell in the datagrid I can't see that the click event is
raised. As I can understand the click event is raised when the column or row
header is clicked. Is there an event that can be used to find the current
cell when you click it?

So I have a table in ASP.NET
<table runat="server" id="tblMyTable">
<tr>
<td id="cellMyCell">word</td>
</tr>
</table>
How do I reference the cell "cellMyCell" from the Vb.NET 1.1 code-behind to
change the background color of the cell?

I have a table with a dynamic number of rows and cells. From the
nature of the script I am writing, I cannot use IDs.
Each row has from 1 to 3 cells. Javascript tables have cells and
rows.
cells is an array of all the cells of the table, supposedly 1D.
rows is an array of all the rows of the table. You can grab the
cells from the row click.

I am trying to write a code that runs when the user clicks a picture within another excel spreadsheet. I need it jump to a specified cell by searching for the contents within the cell "152Z33XX". I can get it to search through the other sheet and find the cell, even highlight, but I often have to scroll through 120000 lines to find the highlighted cell. I would like it to jump to and select the cell within the window everytime the user clicks...

Hi all, just wanted to verify if this is the correct code for FF. I'm trying to find a cell at column iCellIndex in the first row of the table. I get that oHeaderCell is undefined. Thanks in advance, I must be too tired to catch any syntax errors, but here it is:
function TableResize_GetFirstColumnCell(objTable, iCellIndex)
{
var oHeaderCell = objTable.rows.cells;
return oHeaderCell;
}

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
