I am trying to put a 7px border around a page. If the contents don't fill
up the viewport, then the border must appear all around the viewport. If
the page is larger than the viewport, then the border must wrap around the
contents. Both should result in the border around the complete page, no
matter the size, so that none of the bgcolor bleeds outside of it (ie. you
can never see or scroll outside of the border). I would have thought this...

Well, that, by itself, is simple. However, I would like to have a different
border color for a mouse hover effect over the image. With Mozilla, I can
simply specify img:hover {...}, but IE allows hover only for <a>. So now I'm
looking for a way to set the border for my <a> element rather than the
<img>, but...

I work with Interwoven TeamSite in an environment where I do not have access
to customise the default stylesheet, so the only option available to me is
to specify an additional stylesheet wherein I can add further
customisations.
My problem is that the master stylesheet, which I can not edit or remove,
includes a CSS selector for all input elements such that the border is thus:
border: 1px #cccccc solid;

Hi,
I'm really really really new to javascripts and so i couldn't really
comprehend thoroughly on the the previous posts regarding this issue.
Anyways, I'm setting up a picture album site. When i click on a
thumbnail or a picture, a larger picture pops up in a javascript
window. But it has a space on the top and on the left of my larger pic
in the pop-up window. How do i get rid of that? Also, i want the
window to fit my my pic so...

way to get rid of the white border? I want to continue to link directly to

I wonder if there is an easy way to plase a border around a picture.
I have already tryed with the trasparent function but the border gets upon
the picture so it hides some of it.
I have created borders with white space in the middle and with the
bmp_Frame.MakeTransparent(Color.White)
