Dynamic Field Update in ReportViewer - VS2005

I need to enable or disable a Textbox field in the ReportViewer based on the
value of another textbox field (field value is from the dataset ) on the
report (rdlc).

Hi, I am trying to test a sql statement in Access which gives me the error as stated in the heading. The sql statement is built as a part of asp login verification, where the userid and password are input in login screen. The password in the database is a number field. I am writing the dynamic sql statement as follows below. I believe I am going wrong in the password section of the code. I appreciate any help. Thanks. Regards.

I created a Web site using VS2005 and one of the Web forms has a ReportViewer control. This works great on the development computer itself. I then deploy to a computer with only the Framework 2.0 installed and not VS2005. Everything works, except when running the page with the ReportViewer, I get the following error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,...

VS2005. I've spent two days trying to figure out how to do a simple master/detail report using ReportViewer and am just about ready to punt. This is something that really should have been drag/drop/relationship but no. I've finally figured out that I need to use a subreport but I can't figure out how to set the datasource of the localreport object since it only seems to want a datatable and I have a function that is returning a list (of...

Does anybody know why the Print button on the report viewer toolbar (VS2005) only shows for remote reports and not Local? Is there a way to get a print function(button) on the toolbar for local reports? if not what is required to get the remote reports setup and working? thanks Phil B

I'm using ReportViewer in VS2005 to generate local reports, i.e. the report is in the project, not in Report Server, and it works great. Problem is, when the user wants to print, the report has to be exported to PDF and then printed. There is a property on the ReportViewer named ShowPrintButton, that looks kind of promising, however it seems to have no effect, there is no print button on the web page at all. Thanks

Hello, I need to print a report from the VS2005 Reportviewer control. My problem is that I need to print to a tractor feed (dotmatix like) printer that is not the default printer - for printing mailing labels (thousands of them). I can set all the settings from the pagelayout button of the Reportviewer at runtime, but that is a real hassel - set the margins, paper orientation, papersize, printername. I tried using a deviceInfo type...

Hi, I developed a VB.NET Windows program that gets its data from an MS Access database and displays information via the ReportViewer component. This is using VS2005 with .NET 2.0. I sent it to my customer who loaded it on his target machine and received this error message: "'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,

I was deploying an update to my VB2005 app using Click Once as I always do and got a message that the digital signature had expired - so I clicked create Test Certificate as I always do and was able to publish the update (I have never signed the assembly - always just use a Test Certificate). The app uses the Report Viewer control (for printing stuff) which deploys fine. But all of a sudden I am now getting the following message after...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
