I created a ClipboardUtils class which makes it easy to copy Strings
or images to the clipboard.
I don't claim that it's no way perfect, but has been useful in my
applications so far. If you try it out and have improvement
suggestions, let me know.
It can also copy a graphical image of any JComponent to the clipboard.

Hi.
I have a web page that has images and text. I can carefully select one
image and the on the right of the image and then copy & paste to Word.
Is it possible to make javascript do the same: select the same area
(divided by <div> tag) and copy to clipboard?
So far I succeeded to make the script to copy the area inside <div> but
it was plain html-text.

I need to copy some text to the clipboard so that Word can paste it.
The text contains characters that have no ANSI equivalent.
If I simply put the text on the Clipboard, Word displays these characters as
question marks (?).
If I understand what I've read RTF files only uses 7- and 8-bit characters.
So I guess the problem stems from RTF on the Clipboard also using 7- and

I want to create two buttons on a form. One would allow the user to
Copy the contents of the current records memo field, the other would
allow them to print. I set up a report based on the memo field, and
it works. But, it seems wrong since I had to create a huge text box to
accommodate memo fields with a lot of text.

Has anyone else noticed this? I searched group archives and
found nothing, but it's really starting to irritate me big time.
Here's the steps to reproduce the problem:
Copy something to the clipboard (eg code from a web page)
Open Microsoft Access MDB file
Open any module
Press Ctl-V to insert text
Voilia, the text is gone. Opening access dumps the copy buffer.

Hello All,
I¡¯m using a context menu associated with some pictureboxes to provide
copy/paste functionality. Copying the image to the clipboard was easy. But
pasting an image from the clipboard is proving to be more difficult. These
pictureboxes are bound to an AccessDB. If the user wants to add an image,
they select an image using an OpenFileDialog:
