This query is odd, it seems to be taking over a second according to my
log_duration logs and according to psql's \timing numbers. However explain
analyze says it's running in about a third of a second.
What would cause this? Is it some kind of postgresql.conf configuration
failure? I have the same query running fine on a different machine.
QUERY PLAN...

Hi,
I have a Sorted List that has 9 key/value pairs. I am trying to take one of
the key/value pairs and store the value of that key into a string variable.
However, the value that actually gets inserted into the variable is "System.
String" and I don't understand what happened to my original value in the
key/value pair.
Thanks for your help,

I am developing an ASP.NET application that uses Access 2000 as its backend,
and have just started getting the following error on 2 ASP.NET pages that
had been working until late last week (and I don't think I made any changes
to either page other than changing the user control that creates the
header).
Server Error in '/myApp' Application.

Hi,
I need to program the creation of the XML file of given structure. I try to
do it through the serialization of class object. hence I need to write the
class definition which will be serialized to needed XML file.
So I descibed all structure of my XML file at class definition unless one
thing.
In my XML file I have the expression like
<xsi:schemaLocation="http://tempuri.org/schema..\schema\StandartReport.xsd">
in root element. And I...

Well kids,
Todays lesson in computing is an explanation of the Microsoft .NET
"Framework".............
DEFINITION
***************
The MS "Framework" is a term used to describe the Visual Basic .NET (is
it still called that today?) "Runtime Files" needed for a .NET (there I
go again) program to execute. Added on-top of the "Runtime Files" are

I've got two projects, both reference system, system.data and system.xml and
both include the using System.Xml.Serialization and using System at the top
of the file.
Both also include the XmlElementAttribute attribute on some properties as
defined below, but on one project I get the error "'System' denotes a
'namespace' where a 'class' was expected" and the other project I don't.
There highlights the word System on...

Hi guys:
I have been studying about serialization and I have found this
concept: "object graphs", which is not very clear for me.
I have found that it is a limitation of the XML serialization that it
does not serialize object graphs, whereas binary and soap
serializations do.
I am kind of confuse with this,
Can someone help me?

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
