How to pinpoint the code path?

I have a seemingly inexplicable issue with an interaction of a WinForm
3rd party control and my business objects (that are bound to it via
BindingSource technique).

For whatever reason, the GUI does not respond to the 1st mouse click,
but responds find to the subsequent. I've tried to locate the code path
that prevents the GUI action by placing a metric ton of breakpoints all
over the place, but all to no avail.

I suspect the BindingSource, but not sure. I think the 3rd party
control is fine as I've used it all over the place.

Is there an alternative way to pinpoint the code path when the GUI
interaction occurs? Either via a profiler or anything else, really.

Thanks.

okay so I have an app that updates it's status every second to run tests and grab information from various files/places on a system. My app works great but I get a funny error from time to time: System.InvalidOperationException "object is being used" (or something similar). every second a timer sets off an event. this event creates a thread to run the tests as to not freeze the GUI. However before the test is run, it fetches a static boolean...

Hi, I'm trying to use closure to pinpoint a form from a list of forms with the same name to erase its onblur function when the chosen form goes onblur. For example, there will be indefinite numbers of text input forms with the same name "name" like this and same function "calculate()" when onblur, name onblur= function () {calculate()}; name onblur= function () {calculate()}; name onblur= function () {calculate()}; And, when someone...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
