I am having a most frustrating problem that references, web searches,
and other resources are no help so far in solving. Basically, I'm trying
to design a pop-up window to be called with a funciton in a link. that
function can have parameters for URL and window name passed to it.
This works peachy in Firefox (1.0). With IE 6 (6.0.29) on two separate
computers, I get an "onject expected" error. Going to the MS-based

matters, I'm running IE6.0-SP1 under Win98SE.
I subscribe to a service called WebcamNow, which includes a
voicechat feature. In the past, new voicechat plugin
versions have downloaded and run just fine, but the latest
version errors out during the install. The downloads appear

Is there any way to disable the "params" on a particular invocation so that
one can pass an array containing the arguments and not have receiver get an
array having you argument array stuffed into the first index?
I have worked around this by getting the MethodInfo via reflection and
invoking it there. Is there a simpler way?

In my Page_Load Method, I call a method by asynchronous callback to do some work. It's working fine until it calls back. Here is the problem in my callback method. Basically, I cannot redirect because it keeps on saying that the http headers has already been sent. It looks like it keeps on telling me that the response is complete. So nothing it could do about it. I really don't understand. Here is my code (in the callback method):

Hello, i'm trying to program a thread that would be locked (by a
mutex) and that would only be unlocked once that a function
(generating data) is done. The purpose is to generate data, and unlock
the mutex in order to activate the thread once the data is generated.
I have to do it this way, i can only call the thread if the data are
generated.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
