How select just numeric values in LINQ?

We have a table "Animal" that contains the column "AnimalNumb er" with values
like these:

100001
100002
100003
1XAB
10E43ABC
11RU5V

Having letters in the value was done in the past. These days, it's just a
the numeric value.

How can I write a LINQ statement to select only the numeric values? E.g.:

100001
100002
100003

Thanks fror any help,
Ron

I havent used linq but

you could try.
from number in numbers
where IsNumber(number )

write your IsNumber or use double.TryParse

Hello Everyone, I have a main form with a datasheet subform that I use to query by form. After the user selects two criteria on the main form and clicks the cmdShowResults button on the main form, the subform returns the records based on the two criteria. The criteria used on the main form are values selected in two list boxes. When the user clicks on the first list box (lstCollege), it returns values in the second list box...

I having been using Access '97/2002 for about 4 years now and have never really had the need or the time to learn visual basic. Well, I think the time has finally come. I need help with Visual Basic code that will examine numeric value for a particular field in a query, and assign a new numeric vaule to that field. There are over 21 possible values and I am told that IIF statement will only handle 9 of the possibilities and that I need...

Good day all, I am working on a multi-select list box for a standard question checklist database and I am running into a syntax error in the code that I cannot seem to correct. I will also note that I am using Allen Browne's multi-select list box for a report as a guide. I should also note that my access skills are not the best so I may need some explaining on certain things. First let me give some background on the database: I have a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
