Thought this question might be out of this NG's scope, there are always knowledgable people who might hava an answer.
A hyperlink to a shortcut to a file returnes an empty screen, and the source code behind this empty screen is
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>
Is this supposed to be like this? ...

I'm using a richTextBox for editing a source code (with Syntax Highlighting)
of my own programming language...
How come that myRichTextBox doesn't respond to Undo/Redo functions by using
default shortcut keys, or even programaticaly (by using Button_onClick
event)?
if(myRichTextBox.CanUndo == true)
{
myRichTextBox.Undo();
}

Greetings!
I'm trying to make my ASPX page able to process WORD format document. I
learned that RichTextBox might help me, but I can't use it either by adding
it to my Web Control list or by writing "<asp:RichTextBox id="c1" />" in the
ASPX file. The error message shows "Cannot find RichTextBox in the
namespace of web controls" (something like that). Is there any way to add
RichTextBox in ASPX file? Or where can I find a substitute?...

I've been having a major problem using the Rtf property of the Richtextbox. I
use the RTB to generate RTF code to save it in an access database. I'm
successfully able to do this.
However, the moment I retrieve the RTF code from the database back to the
Rtf property, it ignores any tags that refer to bullet information. I don't
understand why.
This is the code that is stored in the database generated by the Richtextbox:

Hello All,
First, I apologize for posting this to so many newsgroups but I wasn't sure
which newsgroup was most appropriate nor which newsgroup would most likely
have subscribers that have done this or would have the answer. That said,
below is a description of my problem:
If I create a standard Windows executable in C# or VB.Net and place a
RichTextBox control on the main form, the control captures standard shortcut
keys as expected...

I've spent the last hour searching the internet for a simple list of the
shortcut keys recognized by the Windows Forms RichTextBox and came up empty
handed.
I did see where someone mentioned that he looked at the lists for all the
DLL's but he didn't say where he found them.
Is there such a list anywhere?

Hello,
I have hosted the windows user control (which has one richtextbox) on
web page. When I type the keys such as Ctrl+O on it the open window
pops up and the control (i.e. richtextbox) is not receiving that
character. Same with some other shortcut keys such as Ctrl+P, Ctrl+A
and so on. Can anybody please give me the solution for it.?? The
control should receive such characters when typed on it on web page.
Thanks in advance.

Use richtextbox selection properties. Like richTextBox.SelectedText or
SelectedRtf if you would like to keep the rtf formatting,
SelectionColor, SelectionBackColor, SelectionFont and so on.
e.g. string str = richtextBox1.SelectedText;

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
