Updating menu in MDI form with child forms

Hi,

I have a MDI form with child forms and a Window menu.

When a new child form is created or closed I want to update
the menu with a item for the child window.

Problem is I have it adding the menu item ok but
when the form is closed the item is not being removed.

I tried using the MDIChildActivat ed event so that
then I enumerate children using MDIChildren collection.
But the child still exists in the collection when the
MDIChildActivat ed event fires.

So I used a public static event instead to and in the
FormClosed of the child fire the event and then
recreate the menu but still the MDIChildren collection
has the child in it.

any ideas
rotsey.

I have an MDI form with a single child form. I have found a couple of circumstances that appear to cause the framework to leak Int32s, MenuItems, MenuItemCollections and sometimes TRACKMOUSEEVENTs. This happens if I disable/enable a menuitem, add a new menuitem programatically or click on an entry in the mdiList menu. I am disposing the...

When you create a MDI form, you can attach a main menu to the parent and to the child. When a child form is active, its menu is merged with the parent menu. The problem is: when the forms are right to left, after merging the menus the parent menu is displayed left to the child menu, which is ok in left to right windows but not in right to...
