Hi,
I'm writing a simple little application that posts to a Uri using the
System.Net.WebClient class. In my application I wish to throw an
Exception if anything other than a 200 OK is returned. Is it possible
to retrieve this information when using WebClient.UploadValues?
Thanks.

Hi folks! I tried to post a web form using the WebClient class and
HttpWebRequest/HttpWebResponse. It didn't work for the ASPX web pages. I
always got an unposted version - like if I had just made a simple request
without posting anything. I have written the same thing using the Perl's
LWD::UserAgent class and it was the same. The web form is really very
simple. As soon as I created the ASP file with the same form everything
worked! Does...

I have an asp page ("test.asp") that presents the data it receives from a
post. When I try the following code, test.asp doesn't return the values
(supposedly) posted to it. If I make a web page with a form and the values,
test.asp reports them fine.
----------------------------
Dim thePost As String = "Variable1=Value1&Variable2=Value2&Variable3=Value3"
Dim thePage As Byte()
Dim MyWebClient As New System.Net.WebClient

Hi!
I need to pass some strings via an HTTP POST from page1 (in my app) to
a page on another server.
I stored my data in a NameValueCollection and then sent it using
WebClient.UploadValues.
Everything works fine but if one of the string contains a european
character (èéòàù...) it's not sent correctly and the char is received
as a '?'
I read at least 20 different posts on similiar problem but didn't find
a solution yet.

Hi All,
I have a .NET Winforms application that regularly posts to a PHP page.
Till a few days back this worked perfectly. However, now, on certain
machines, after the data is sent to the server, the server reports
that no data is present. The code still works on my development
machine.
All the machines I'm using are Windows XP SP2 machines. Using .NET
Framework 1.1.
The mechanism I'm using is webclient.UploadValues.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
