problem. When I run the following code:

Byte aBA = aWebClient.DownloadData("http://www.microsoft.com");

Everything works as expected. However, when I run the following code:

I have a problem with the WebClient and uploading a file to a web server. The
stream object returned from the WebClient.OpenWrite menthod throws a timeout
exception when using this method on computers w/ low bandwith ( < = 256 kbs).
The exception occurs when I call the Stream.Close method. Here is the code:

I have an asp page ("test.asp") that presents the data it receives from a
post.When I try the following code, test.asp doesn't return the values
(supposedly) posted to it. If I make a web page with a form and the values,
test.asp reports them fine.

I'm trying to download a file. I've tried both using webclient and the
httpWebRequest. Either way it returns a "407 proxy authentication
required".
The program is to be run externally, so basically I don't know the
users login-name, password or domain. So that makes setting the proxy
in code irrelevant, doesn't it?
When searching the web it appears to be a common problem. But I
haven't found my solution and still can't get it to...

We are a having a problem that if we run it multiple times in a short time
span something fails. ANd I was wondering if the webclient could be the cause
of problems.

Hi, .. I'm trying to post some values to an aspx but seem to be unable to get
the formdata there . This is what I do:
NameValueCollection form = new NameValueCollection();
form.Add("foo", "bar");
System.Net.WebClient oo = new WebClient();

and I get an exception on the UploadValues();

I'm currently developing a simple Windows application in C#, which is
supposed to upload images - through 'WebClient' - into remote
(FreeBSD/Apache/PHP) server.
What is interesting (and the problem) that my script on the remote
server side says so: UPLOAD_ERR_PARTIAL (php error) - which means that
file was not successfuly (till the eof) uploaded. There is no

Hi,
I'm having problems with the WebClient class regarding UTF-8 encoded data.
When I access a specific webservice directly I can see the data arrives in corretly formatted UTF-8. But when I try to pull data from the same webservice url through the WebClient class I get partly garbled UTF-8 data in return. Only some UTF-8 chars (double byte pairs) seems to be corrupted.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
