Hi,
can anybody put forward a sensible argument javascript's behaviour of
creating a new global variable whenever I assign to a previously undeclared
variable. I can't beleive this is just for the sake of convenience (surely
we learned this much from basic).
here's my proposal: all "global" (document scope) variables must be declared

Noob problem. I prefer to keep all my scripts in an external '.js' file.
I am currently loading the external '.js' file from the header. Problem is I
would like to declare
a global variable in the external file, but I keep getting an error about

Can someone tell me where or how to declare a global variable in an...

Hi,
When I saw 'global static', the first response was there was no such term.
But I realized it's an idiom later. When we learn C language, when we study
C standard, when we study compiler, we use 'linkages of identifiers',
'storage-class specifier'. One of my friends said maybe we could use 'local
static', :-)
Who could tell me...

Have a couple of global variables of a class type which i have declared
and defined in the application.
1. Not sure where should the global variables be placed ?
2. Would i need to forward declare the class before the global variable
is declared ?
Thanks,
vivekian

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
