What is the best way to approach this problem? I have a datagrid with an imagebutton. When one clicks the imagebutton it triggers an onClick sub which makes column 9 (a user control) visible or invisible. Only problem is when one clicks the imagebutton on a specific row, I want *only* that row's column 9 to appear or disappear. ********My imagebutton******************* <asp:TemplateColumn><ItemTemplate> <asp:ImageButton...

I've made a webform in which some selection boxes are incorporated. Once the form is submitted the user can display the form again and all the options selected are highlighted (via the "selected" keyword). The only thing what bothers me is that sometimes the selected option is not visible ; one has to scroll down the selection box to see the highlighted item. Is there anyone who has experienced the same and found a solution for this...

It's easy to make the last row in a datagrid (filled with a table) invisible: datagridObject.Rows.Visible = false BUT if 'i' is not the last row then things go wrong. I even tried: for (int i = datagridObject.Rows.Count - 1; i >= 0; i-- ) {

I've tried googling for the answer to this problem, without any luck. I'm sure the truth must be out there somewhere! I have a multiselect listbox populated with many items (set by the RowSource property). In my code I cause a number of these to be selected - but if the first selected item is not within the currently visible range then there is no change to the display. This gives the impression that nothing has happened. I think...

When you retrieve records to diplay in a DataGridView control the first record has the background highlighted even though no row is yet selected. Does anyone know a way to suppress this first record highlighting after pulling the records into the grid?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
