Hi All,
I have a task that should be very simple but I'm running into trouble. All
I want to do is query a document using XPath, and save the resulting XML in
a string. Here's that I am trying (PHP5):
// $xml has the entire XML document in it; I included it for reference at

I'm working with java and XML documents in order to search for keywords in a
given element name, eg element name 'author' == "jo blogs".
The problem is the XML documents are downloaded (this process is automated)
from different websites thus the element names for author may differ!
Is their a way of dealing with this, such as perhaps a standard adopted by,
say educational websites to agree on element names ?

are coming across problems, because XALAN seems to have problems with
absolute paths. XALAN always assumes that the path is relative to the
current directory. So if we e.g. are in "c:\xslt_scripts" and are trying

Hi, I have an XML document that uses namespaces (it is from a Word 2007
file). I want to retrieve all the "t" elements that belong to the
"w" namespace (<w:t>) using XPath from VB.NET 2003 (.NET framework
1.1).
I've successfully loaded the document into a XmlDocument DOM parser
(I can dump the contents using OuterXML).
And, I've created a XmlNamespaceManager and assigned it the "w"
namespace.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
