Hi,
How can I get if the Windows running is a server version?
Is there a property somewhere that can tell me if the Windows version is a
server edition (including server, advanced server, web server, etc) or just
a workstation (if it's not a workstation, then it's a server). My app must
verifies that for security reasons. It should work from at least windows
2000 (Windows 98 and ME, would appreciated to, but if it's not possible,
I'll...

Based on MK's TSI_SOON (http://www.trigeminal.com/)I've created a
nifty little procedure that - whenever you compact you db you get an
incremental backup copy.
Given that you have a table with version information you get
incremental backups on a per-version basis.
SEE CODE BELOW
Basic idea is: start TSISOON with the options:
1. "compact this db"

1. Is the run time version a self-contained file which includes Access files
and a database or are there separate Access files and a database (.mdb) file?
2. If the database file is separate, can other database files (.mdb) be run on
a machine that has only the run time version installed?
Thanks,
Morley

Hi there -
I'll do my best to explain my dilema.
I'm using Access 2000. In this database, there is one table with about 150
columns of information, and 206 rows. There are numerous queries and
reports. I've set up input forms for staff to enter data easily. There are
8 staff members.
My boss wants to ensure that data entered into this database is correct
right off the bat. She's asking for a program or code to do the following:

I have a couple of instances where using "Auto" did not work so I tried the
"A" version of the DLL and it works.
Tried the "W" version and it doesn't.
Anyone have any idea why that might happen?
It is true that with XP Auto uses the "W" version is it not?

I posted in another group but thought this was the better place to post,
since it had to do with the vb language
I have been making changes to my Windows Application and in the
Project/Properties the Publish Version shows the following:
Major: 1
Minor: 0
Build: 0
Revision: 45

I have been approached by a new customer to "sort-out" their existing
database. They occasionally need to remotely access the database and are
using Terminal Server to do so. The weird thing is that all of the local
users are using TS as well to save on Access licences!
Two questions:
If 20 people use TS to access a database do you need an Access licence for
each user?

Greetings,
I´m back here to show the new version of the drag & drop table columns (original script ). I´ve found some issues with the old script, specially when trying to use 2 tables with drag&drop on the same page (which was not possible). Now i´ve a new concept of the script, more object oriented.
I´ve also commented the whole code so you guys can easier understand it engine.
What exactly we need when trying to make a column drag &...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
