Hi,

Could someone explain how to merge the form menu with the mdi container
window. The menu strip items on the form window merge but I either end up
with a blank blue menu on the form or top list of items that don't do
anything.

I've been able to merge a MenuStrip into a MenuStrip but never a
ContextMenuStrip into a MenuStrip.
From the docs it seems to me I should be able to.

I am having a serious issue with my MDI child windows. This is with a
large VB.NET application that I ported over to VS 2005 from VS 2003.
The problem is that, if the child window is maximized and then closed,
it produces the following error message:
Cannot access a disposed object
Object name:'icon' in source System.Drawing
And then the whole system crashes. Again, this ONLY occurs if the MDI
child window is maximized within the MDI...

It includes instructions to set the property MdiList to maintain a list of
open MDI child windows.
However, I can't find the MdiList property in the properties panel.

I need to call a method on an owned child form, and am wondering if the best
way of doing this is to capture the Closing event of the form that passes
control back to the form where I have the method. The structure is like so:
frmMain (MDI, runs on app start) calls
frmB (MDI child), which in turn calls
frmC (MDI child), which in turn calls
frmD (MDI child).
frmMain and frmB remain open while frmC and frmD are shown.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
