I've got an asp page that populates a listbox with info from a db.
The list box ends up being pretty big, so I want to be able to search
it effectively. I like the method wherein the user types the letters
of the word they are looking for from within the listbox and the
control automatically scrolls to the item matching the chars they have
typed thus far.

Thanks in advance for your help.
I am using IE 6 and NN7. I was testing the <NOSCRIPT></NOSCRIPT>, so I
was trying to turn off or disable JavaScript in my browsers. But in my
"Internet Options" and "Preferences", respectively, I am unable to find
the option to disable JavaScript. Is disabling JavaScript in IE6 and
NN7 no longer an option?

I'm a beginner with JS. When I try to disable JavaScript in IE6, I can't
seem to turn it off in order to do off-line tests -- with or without JS
enabled -- on my developing site.
What I try in IE is: Tools => Internet Options => Security => Custom Level
=> Scripting => Active Scripting (disable).
When I do this, and visit sites on-line, JS is disabled. And I can disable
JS in NN, Moz and Opera (and use the <noscript> </noscript>...

I am using the embedded ActiveX IE WebBrowser component in my C#
application. I want to be able to Enable/Disable javascripting
programmatically. I was wondering if there was a way to achieve this? I
was hoping maybe there was a registery entry I could modify directly. Any

I would like to know if there are anyways to disable javascript, activeX
and all scripting on AxWebBrowser.
I have a program that include the AxWebBrowser and load internet pages, but
some pages keep having javascript error and a popup was shown.
I want to eliminate all the popup from javascript and other object, how can

I am hunting for way to turn off/disable active scripting especially
javascript in my webbrowser control. I don't see any property to turn
off script. I found entry in registry under HKU/software/microsoft/...
which gets modified when we manually change the setting for active
scripting in IE from dword 3 to 0. But that solution is not viable
because programatically registry updation is dependent the user rights

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
