In my old VB6 application I have an xslt extension object that builds a
small cross reference document and returns it as a NodeList in my XSLT. I
can then use it with xpath expressions as $nodeset/xpath and I would get my
values or use xsl:copy-of and I would get the whole document in my results
tree. In my .Net version I don't get anything with my $nodeset/xpath
expression and if I use the xsl:copy-of I get a value of...

I just noticed that prototype.js is one of the files in the Ajax.NET
distribution - I'm pretty concerned about this. Does anyone know if this
is the same "prototype.js" that is not well-liked around here?
If so, do you know if Ajax.NET can be used without prototype.js?

Hello.
I am writing a web service and I need to use a Soap Extension to add a
custom header that is expected at the destination. I can use the Soap
Extension successfully for adding the header in the AfterSerialize
section and the destination accepts my request and sends back the
appropriate data, but my problem comes when I try to return the data.
Depending on what I do I either get an exception that "the root element
is missing" or...

I am using ajax / php where I am looking up some info from the
database and populating a select list dynamically, however I am
running into some sort of size limitation with the ajax.response
object. If the string I am passing to javascript from php is too large
javascript does not get it all the data. The magic number appears to
be 6123 characters, anything below that it works fine, anything above
and if I alert the ajax.response, I see...

James Kassemi
Introduction:
Although the concept isn't entirely new, XMLHttpRequest technology is
implemented on more sites now than ever. Compatibility is no longer an
issue (IE, Mozilla and Opera all support it), and the benefits to
using it are amazing. There are too many PHP programmers avoiding any

I have a form in PHP that needs to be processed by the same page. I have ajax calling the page and parsing the data however I cannot get the POST data to be sent via AJAX to the PHP Page. I found this site which gives me an idea that you need to setup the $_POST methods as what looks like a GET then you send the information to the PHP page which in turn interprets it as $_POST data.
However I was wondering is there a way that without me...

Hi,
I have a problem with a current project and the scroll position.
I have an AJAX enabled website using Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.Net 2.0.
The project also uses masterpages.
On the page in question, there is a search section in an AJAX update panel, situated on the left hand side. Upon submitting criteria and pressing a button, the results are displayed on the right hand side of the page.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
